Batman Begins was an awesome movie. Forget all the other Batman movies to date. They have completely restarted the series and given it the much needed reboot. I remember reading The Untold Legend of the Batman when I was in Grade 3. (Or maybe grade 4? Or 5? It’s all a blur)… and I’m glad to see that this movie really kept the right mood and intensity throughout. Cristian Bale is always amazing at playing mentally unbalanced characters. (Equilibrium? American Psycho?) And he does a perfect job with Batman. I have to say I was thoroughly impressed with everything in this movie. The cinematics were great, the casting and acting was great (especially for an action movie). I think I even want to see it again.
After the movie we came up with possible titles for the next Batman sequels. These are them (my favourites are numbers 8 and 14):
- Dr. Batman
- From Batman With Love
- Goldbatman (or, Batmanfinger)
- Thunderbatman
- You Only Live Batman
- Casino Batman (this will be a short TV special where Batman gets his toes twisted in a bathtub. And it will be in black and white).
- On Her Batman’s Secret Service
- Batman Are Forever
- Live And Let Batman
- The Man With The Golden Batman
- The Batman Who Loved Me
- Moonbatman
- For Your Batman Only
- Octobatman
- Batman Say Batman Again (but this one won’t really count because all the names will be changed, and it will star Adam West, the original, aging Batman, not the current young Batman, and it will co-star Mr. Bean.)
- A View To A Batman
- The Living Batman
- License to Batman
- GoldenBatman
- Batman Never Dies
- Batman Is Not Enough
- Die Another Batman, and finally:
- All Your Batman Are Belong To Us
